この花の咲く野原は甘い香りで満ち溢れる。この花の樹液はボフィーカの代表的なカクテル“ピンクブルー”の原料になる。

赤紅色の実をつける。葉から香る清浄な香りは、その森一帯に広がり

祭りの朝、その年の行事を取り仕切る一家の門に目印として飾られる。主は行列の先頭でこの飾りを振り、祭りの始まりを伝える。
